The new benchmark exhibition will be built from three protagonists: the city, the individual and otherness, we will be telling the story of Cervera and Segarra.

It will cover physical and identity transformations throughout history: from the fortification processes, markets and medieval religiosity to the great transformation of Cervera modern building of the university, its flagship building. In fact, the date of 1714 takes a special significance, as it will become a great starting point that will allow to understand the relationship of the city with its own territory, its economic growth, urban development, but also and especially building 'identity.

Will discuss the formation of memory through the eyes of travelers and chroniclers of the city, and the creation of symbols, activities and local festivals.

He will also speak, without leaving the context of coexistence and conflict throughout history: from a rural society in constant dialogue with the various immigrant communities. The important medieval Jewish quarter, the French and the university community of modern times ...
