Under the Isagoge 2019 43th Cultural Week Cervera, the City Museum offers a tour of the House Museum Duran Sanpere by specialist Monica Piera.
House Sanpere Duran, explained, usually from their men, however, women have quietly filled their spaces and have been invisible. Despite his intellectual power, and Marie Degree Aymà and Eulalia Duran i Grau, remained in the shadow of Sanpere Agustin Duran, her husband and father respectively. In fact, Marie Degree Aymà and claim their identity, independent of the social roles assigned to it and breaks with gray and mimicry of women in the nineteenth century to occupy a space that is owned by its very existence. Although the house (now Museum House) is one of the most important to build a history of women, we realize that there are certain deviations in research projects that benefit the hegemonic gender identities at the expense of the minority. That is why we propose to review the inventory of household objects to integrate a gender perspective in the tools description of the object, as well as in the description field, not to omit references to gender. Thus, we propose a revision of inventories House Museum that allows updating and at the same time, provide us develop new stories.
